Our History
Mayer Veterinary Hospital was established in 2004 by Dr. Bill Mayer. He is a 2001 graduate from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Our hospital focuses primarily on companion animal medicine and surgery. While we love our dogs and cats, we’ve also seen chickens, ducks, pygmy goats, and an occasional pocket pet. We offer state of the art diagnostics including CBC and chemistry panels, radiography, ultrasound, ocular tonometry, cytology, and heartworm detection.
Our Services
A wide array of services is available, including annual wellness exams, vaccinations, spays and neuters, microchipping, and orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Boarding, bathing, and limited grooming are also available. In short, our goal is to provide anything your pet needs to be happy and healthy.
Our Commitment
The Mayer Veterinary Hospital team displays a commitment to our clients that is second-to-none through continuing education, technological advances in veterinary medicine, and most importantly, administering compassionate care to each pet entrusted to us. Stop by any time to tour our hospital or visit with us.
